Watercolorist

I am a self taught watercolor artist. I have found the honesty of watercolor works
well in reflecting my dry brush techniques and style.

My fondness for the architecture of Southern homes of  older vintage form the
Antebellum to the Victoriana have them constantly on my easel.

I also have found a lot of  enjoyment in finding and painting the old "Cracker" homes.
They are getting difficult to locate and I offer a print of any paintings of photos that
are sent to me if I find the photos something I want to paint and have prints made of
them.

I am fortunate in that my portraits of  children and pets are well received. I work
primarily from photos with occasional looks at the subjects eyes. It is most unusual if
I am caught up with my commissions.
